CSKA advances to the quarterfinals in the Bulgarian Cup tournament, eliminating Beroe with a 2-1 victory amid heavy snowfall at the Vitosha Stadium. Leandro Godoy gave Beroe the lead in the 53rd minute, but seven minutes later, Pedrinho equalized with a goal from a direct free-kick. Ivaylo Chochev scored a fantastic free-kick goal in the 88th minute, securing the victory for CSKA.
The first more dangerous opportunity came in the 9th minute, when CSKA was awarded a direct free-kick after Enzo Ojoss fouled Pedrinho. The Brazilian took a direct shot, but it went past the left post of the goal guarded by Rodrigo Acheneli.
In the following minutes, Beroe was the more active of the two teams. In the 26th minute, Leandro Godoy advanced along the right flank and attempted to surprise Daniel Naumov with a long-range shot, but the CSKA goalkeeper intervened routinely.
Two minutes later, Beroe created another opportunity in front of Naumov when Jordi Govea advanced along the left flank, then passed the ball to Enzo Ojoss, who took a shot with his first touch from the edge of the penalty area but failed to find the goal frame.

In the following minutes, the game was stopped several times to clear the lines on the field, but neither team managed to create a clear scoring opportunity in front of either goal.
CSKA had the opportunity to turn the tide after Steve Furtado crossed into the penalty area, where Georgi Rusev headed the ball to Pedrinho. However, his shot was saved by Rodrigo Acheneli in the 82nd minute.
CSKA was awarded a direct free-kick centrally in front of Beroe's goal. Captain Ivaylo Chochev took the execution and sent the ball into the upper left corner of Rodrigo Acheneli's goal, making it unstoppable and allowing the 'Reds' to complete the comeback.
